Audrey: Mom do we have anything in the family that is really old and has been passed down?
Me: Well I'll have to think about that. How old are you talking about?
Audrey: Really really old, from like the 1950's....isn't that when they had oil lamps?

Me: Hi sweetie how was your day?
Audrey: It went well, no actually it was great, really great.
Me: really? Wow that's terrific. Why was is so great?
Audrey: I don't know exactly but you only need a reason to be sad and you don't to be happy.
Me: blink blink as I felt some wisdom being dropped

We have one cat that likes to drink out of Audrey's toilet. She gets REALLY frustrated when she sits on a wet seat! Today she said "that's it!!!! We need to get those toilet seat covers they have in public bathrooms so my cheeks stay dry!"
